Free Shipping:
When ordering from Dorm Haul your ship cost is FREE! All orders shipping within the 48 contiguous United States ship for FREE. Orders arrive within 5-8 business days at no charge. Need your order faster? Upon checkout you can select a faster, upgraded shipping option.
Express Shipping:
If you need your order faster than our Free Shipping option provides, you will be given the option to select an upgraded shipping speed at checkout. When choosing your shipping speed, keep in mind that weekends do not count because our shipping carriers do not work on the weekends. Express orders placed prior to 1 pm Central Time will be sent out the same day. Orders placed after 1 pm are guaranteed to ship out the next business day.
International Orders:
Students attending college from a country outside of the United States can place orders on Dorm Haul and we can ship direct to your university. Dorm Haul only ships within the contiguous 48 United States.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
- All shipping speeds are in terms of business days (Monday through Friday) .
- Shipping Carriers do not ship over the weekend or on holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc).
- When estimating your delivery date, do not count the weekends or holidays.
- When determining the number of ship days do not count the day you order. For example, if 3 day shipping was selected and your order was shipped out on a Tuesday, Wednesday would be the 1st day in transit, meaning your order would be delivered on Friday, the third business day.

At Dorm Haul college shopping is our niche, but with lots of shoppers and limited inventory our best selling products tend to sell out. With our Pack & Hold program, you can alleviate the fear of stuff being SOLD OUT and choose all of your favorite college dorm necessities now and have them ship later.
How to Request a Pack & Hold:
- Place your order on our website as normal.
- When placing your order you should select our free shipping option. If you do not yet know what the correct shipping address will be, then you can use your billing address as a stand-in. You will be able to email us at a later date with the corrected address once you have that information available.
- Email us at Help@DormHaul.com with your order number and the request that we SHIP LATER. The subject line should include Pack & Hold. Contacting us immediately after your order is placed will help ensure that your order doesn't get prematurely sent out by our warehouse.
- If you know the date you want your order to be shipped you can provide this information in your initial correspondence. If you don't have this information, just give us a heads up, and our warehouse will pick, pack, and store your order for a future ship date.
- If not previously provided, once you know the date and correct address where you want your order shipped just let us know! We will update your information in our system for on time shipment. Please provide this information at least 8 business days before the date you need to receive your order. Relax with peace of mind knowing that your favorite dorm supplies are ordered, packed, and will be shipped to you on the designated date!
FAQ:
Is there an added cost for requesting a Pack & Hold?
Nope! There are no added costs or fees. This program is a value added free service to make your dorm shopping experience easier.
When will I be charged?
Your form of payment will be charged at the time the order is placed on our website. A confirmation email will be automatically sent with a copy of your invoice as well as your order number.
Can I cancel or adjust my Pack & Hold order before it ships?
Yes, however for any items already picked and packed we do charge a 15% restocking fee to cover the added warehouse labor costs. This applies to restocking canceled items or a canceled order and would be deducted from the amount of your refund. If you want to purchase additional items then please place a new order at your convenience and follow the same procedure to notify us.
